| The city of Marseilles is proud to have the Middle east war memorial. Each year on the 3rd Saturday in June the Illinois Motorcycle Freedom run comes to town. Each year the names of the soldiers who gave their life during the past year are read and revealed on the wall. The memorial is located on the north bank of the Illinois river near Illinois Valley Cellular. The memorial is open from dusk to dawn 365 days a year.. | MDA Helping Jerry's Kids |
| Marseilles Fire and Ambulance collected money to help support MDA. EMT's and Firefighters collected $1600 to help support research for Jerry's Kids. |
